Every year BOSTAA supports a Sports Surgery Travelling Fellowship worth up to £5,000.
It is open to post-FRCS trainees or Consultants with less than 5 years experience, and more than one winner can share the award.
The successful candidate(s) is allowed to design their own trip to Centres of Excellence across the globe.
Applicants must be members of BOSTAA. Not a member? Not a problem, join now.
Successful applicants will have to complete their trips within 18 months and present their visit at the next BOSTAA conference.
Marks for shortlisting potential candidates are awarded based on engagement with BOSTAA
- annual meeting attendance
- submission of scientific content to the annual meetings
- research background in sports
- a robust plan for the travelling fellowship.
A short presentation may be requested to candidates shortlisted for interview.
