ACJ-SNAP - National collaborative audit, we need everyone behind it!
ACJ-SNAP is a national, trainee-led collaborative audit of how acromioclavicular joint injuries are managed across the UK, run by BOSTAA together with the BON Research Collaborative. It is prospective and observational - no change to anyone’s treatment, and every field is baseline data we already record. Eight weeks, all Rockwood grades, one patient per row.
What you get out of it:
A PubMed-citable collaborator authorship on the national publication - up to three of you per department, plus your supervising consultant.
A national presentation at BOSTAA in November.
Your ARCP audit requirement done properly. We will send every centre a confidential breakdown of its own results against the national picture, ready to present at your local governance meeting.
Data collection launches on 1st September 2026, and local audit registration must be confirmed before then.
Register now, work out who your supervising consultant is, and get the governance form in early. We have written the summary protocol and the covering letter for you.
